We are seeking a Child Care Center Cook to join our team at Montessori Early Years Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals that support the health and well-being of our children. Your contributions will play a vital role in creating a positive atmosphere that fosters growth and learning.
*Responsibilities*
* Prepare and cook healthy, balanced meals for children in accordance with dietary guidelines.
* Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met in the kitchen.
* Plan menus that accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences of children.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
* Assist with inventory management and ordering of food supplies as needed.
* Collaborate with staff to create a welcoming dining experience for children.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as a cook in a food service or restaurant setting.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
* Ability to prepare meals that meet nutritional guidelines for young children.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
