This is an in-office, full-time, permanent position, Monday to Friday.Reporting to the Regional Credit Manager, the position will be responsible for various accounts receivable functions and collections of overdue customer accounts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, compliance to meet individual/team targets and enjoy working as part of a dynamic team.Details:Record and post customer payments in a timely manner, including but not limited to EFT & cheques.Monitor and maintain up to date records for client accounts and review accounts in arrears to ensure appropriate actions are taken.Perform collections on overdue accounts, communicating discrepancies with management to identify and recommend high risk accounts and external collection candidates.Update and record notes based on agreed payment terms and key aspects of customer interactions.Reconcile customer accounts, monitor, and allocate unapplied cash, investigate charge backs, and short payments.Professionally handle customer inquiries, including providing detailed customer reconciliation and statements as required, resolving payment disputes and processing refunds.Provide support to accounts receivable team with routine tasks and assist in projects to support accounting function as requiredRequirements:Diploma in Business Administration (Accounting Concentration) or similar post-secondary training.Minimum of 2-3 years full cycle Accounts Receivable experience, including collection calling/emailing.Detail orientated with the ability to maintain confidentiality.Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.Excellent customer service, time management, organization, and analytical skills.Experience with computerized accounting systems and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) is requiredAbility to work independently as well as in a team-orientated environment.Bilingualism (English/French) is not required but would be considered an asset.We offer a competitive compensation package, including group benefits, a retirement savings plan, employee assistance program, and stable employment.
