Morskate Manufacturing is actively recruiting an experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our dynamic team of professionals*. * Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining a variety of data in our internal systems. Your keen eye for detail, strong keyboarding skills, and ability to handle confidential information with discretion will be essential in supporting smooth business operations. Consistency, accuracy, and time management will be key to your success. If you enjoy working independently, take pride in your accuracy, and are looking for a supportive team environment with room for growth, we?d love to hear from you! *Responsibilities* * Maintain excellent attendance record * Print shop drawings, make binders and file according to specific job folders * Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems * Generate and update spreadsheets * Verify data by comparing it to source documents * Create reports from data provided * Organize and file paperwork after entering data * Assist administration and management in the entry of data when needed * Identify and assist in the facilitation of continual improvement processes in support of company goals *Requirements/Qualifications* * Previous data entry experience * Previous experience in steel fabrication or related industry an asset * Highschool Diploma * Proficient in MS Office * Must have strong organizational skills with attention to detail * Able to work independently or as part of a team * Ability to maintain confidentiality * Ability to speak, read, write and understand English clearly *Health & Safety Responsibilities* * Active participation in company safety program * Follow safety protocol including wearing of required PPE and understanding and application of safety policies, procedures and practices *What Morskate Manufacturing Offers* * Permanent, year-round employment * Competitive wages * Overtime after 8 hours a day / 44 hours a week * Benefits after 3 months of employment * 4% vacation pay plus statutory holiday pay * Guaranteed every Sunday off We offer competitive starting wages beginning at *$19.00-$22.00 per hour*, with final rates determined by your experience, skill level, and how well you align with the role.
