Education: College/CEGEP. Tasks: Plan and organize the delivery of social and community service programs. Hire and provide training for professional and non-professional staff. Administer programs of membership organizations. Manage the operations and activities of social and community centres, correctional facilities and detention centres. Plan, administer and control budgets for projects, programs, support services and equipment. Represent their respective organizations for the purpose of government liaison and media relations. Develop policies, procedures and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment.
