Ready Refrigeration is looking for a dedicated and experienced Licensed Electrician with a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will have a passion for electrical work, a commitment to safety, and a keen eye for detail. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems related to HVAC installations, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations and codes.
Responsibilities:
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to the Canadian Electrical Code and other applicable regulations.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues related to HVAC systems, provide solutions and complete repairs in a timely manner
* Perform regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards
* Collaborate effectively with project managers, HVAC technicians, and other team members on HVAC projects
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
* Electrical panel upgrades, pull permits and schedule inspections with NSP
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns, answering questions, and providing updates on project progress
* Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to all company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
* Valid Nova Scotia Journeyman Electrician License
* At least 2 years of experience as a licensed electrician, preferably with experience in heat pump installations or HVAC systems
* Proficient in the use of electrical tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices
* Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code, local regulations, and safety standards
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot electrical systems
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Valid driver's license and clean drivers abstract.
* Ability to fish wires with minimal damage an asset
* Hydronic heating controls knowledge an asset
* Renewable energy knowledge an asset

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
