Under the supervision of the Executive Housekeeper, performs daily cleaning of Hotel Guest Rooms in accordance with hotel cleanliness standards, polices and procedures. Carts are stored on every level, making it easy to restock - bed bundles are also made for you nightly for the organization of your cart, carts are smaller, making it easier to push from room to room, vacuum cleaners are also light with new technology filters - everything to make your work day efficient and able to concentrate on the cleanliness of our rooms to ensure guest satisfaction.
*BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Promptly and efficiently carry out all guest requests
* Performs daily cleaning of assigned guest rooms and corridors to hotel standards
* Ensure adequate linen and guest supplies are stocked on cart, the storage area is cleaned daily and that all equipment used is in good working conditions before commencing daily duties
* Adhere to all departmental and company policies including Health & Safety and WHIMIS.
* Ensures the proper handling, storage and controls of cleaning products and the security of all housekeeping equipment and supplies.
* Other duties as required.
*SKILLS, ABILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS:*
* 1-2 years experience considered an asset.
* Proven abilities in customer service.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
