*Job Summary:*
Penta Protective Coatings is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to expand our market presence and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building relationships, a strong understanding of the construction industry, and a proven track record in sales and business development. This role will focus on identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and promoting our innovative protective solutions.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities with residential, commercial, and industrial clients in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Northwest Ontario, and Nunavut.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, and property owners to promote Penta?s spray foam, fire protection, waterproofing, and coating solutions.
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
* Collaborate with the technical team to provide tailored solutions that meet client needs and project specifications.
* Represent Penta at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to identify growth opportunities.
* Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and bids to secure new contracts.
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the company?s CRM system.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor?s degree in business, marketing, construction management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the construction, coatings, or protective solutions industry.
* Strong knowledge of the construction industry and familiarity with spray foam, fireproofing, or waterproofing systems is an asset.
* Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships and achieve sales targets.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently while collaborating with a team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Valid driver?s license and willingness to travel within Western Canada as needed.
