This position will have regional responsibility and a leadership role for Records, Retention and Processing. This role will involve strategic planning, policy development, team leadership, cross continuum integration and project management. Operational management in sites on the Burin Peninsulas will be a component of this position. The successful applicant will require data management skills, knowledge of and experience with the information technologies used with health information. Familiarity in the use of information and office automation tools is essential.Job QualificationsEducationA Baccalaureate degree in Health Informatics/Health Information Management, Business Administration or a health-related degree from a recognized/accredited post-secondary institution is required.ExperienceMinimum of five years' experience within the last seven in health information management or heath information is required.Experience in project/change management initiatives, and in the use of Meditech and other electronic health systems.
