*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatrician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality medical care to children from infancy through adolescence. As a Pediatrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various pediatric conditions while ensuring the well-being of your young patients and their families. *Responsibilities* * Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of pediatric patients. * Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and developmental issues. * Provide patient care that includes medication administration, pain management, and preventive health measures. * Collaborate with parents and caregivers to develop individualized treatment plans. * Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner. * Educate families on health issues, nutrition, and wellness practices. * Participate in data collection for quality improvement initiatives within the practice. * Stay current with advancements in pediatric medicine and best practices. *Skills* * Proficient in acute care and patient care techniques specific to pediatrics. * Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to pediatric healthcare. * Experience with electronic medical office systems, preferably Epic or Cerner. * Excellent communication skills for interacting with children and their families. * Ability to perform data collection and analysis for patient outcomes. * Knowledge of medication administration protocols within a pediatric setting. * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
