We own and operate multiple restaurant brands across Ontario, including our flagship *Breakfast and Brunch Concept*. As we continue to expand, we?re building a strong, passionate head office team to support our growth?and we?re looking for a motivated, hands-on *Human Resources Officer* to join us. *Job Summary* We?re hiring an entry-level HR Officer who?s eager to grow with our company. This is an ideal role for someone who has foundational HR experience and is ready to take ownership of projects, develop systems, and contribute to company-wide growth. This is more than a support position?it?s a *builder's role*. *Key Responsibilities* * Post job openings, manage job board accounts, and screen candidates * Schedule and conduct interviews with hiring managers * Prepare and collect contracts, onboarding documents, and employee records * Coordinate full hiring efforts for new restaurant openings * Support recruitment for head office positions * Help develop internal HR systems and templates (forms, policies, processes) * Ensure compliance with employment standards and health and safety regulations * Act as the point of contact for HR issues, complaints, or questions * Work closely with the Training Manager to develop onboarding and training materials *Qualifications* * 1?2 years of experience in a Human Resources role (hospitality/restaurant industry a plus) * Strong organizational and time-management skills * Working knowledge of Ontario employment laws and the Occupational Health and Safety Act * High attention to detail and professionalism * Self-starter who takes initiative and solves problems independently * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Ability to work at the Mississauga head office with occasional travel to restaurant locations *Why Work With Us* * Opportunity to grow into a more senior HR role as the company expands * Collaborative, high-energy work culture with real impact * Join a team that values innovation, hard work, and hospitality * Be part of building systems from the ground up *Apply Today with your Resume and a Short Cover Letter!* Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year Benefits: * Casual dress * Discounted or free food * Flexible schedule * On-site parking * Paid time off Location: * Mississauga, ON L5N 6C4 (preferred) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2025-06-25
