Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Dirty. Noisy. Work setting: Garage. Tasks: Discuss work with supervisor. Inspect motor in operation. Review work orders . Road test motor vehicles . Test automotive systems and components. Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems. Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications. Perform scheduled maintenance service. Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements. Provide customer service. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Hand-eye co-ordination. Attention to detail. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Are you willing to relocate for this position?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Green job: Involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes. Other benefits: Learning/training paid by employer.
