*Overview* We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented *Bookkeeper* to manage day-to-day financial operations for two companies, *True North Genetics Ltd. *and *Cold Country Pork Inc., *from a single shared office in *Winnipeg*. The ideal candidate must be *fluent in English and Mandarin* and experienced in using *QuickBooks*. Experience with *Sage software, letters of credit, and wire transfers* is a strong asset. *Key Responsibilities* * *Daily Transactions* ? Record and manage financial entries in QuickBooks and Sage * *Bank Reconciliation* ? Reconcile accounts and investigate variances * *Accounts Payable & Receivable* ? Process vendor invoices, customer payments, and collections * *Export Accounting* ? Support financial aspects of export transactions, including preparing documents for *letters of credit* and processing *wire transfers* * *Filing & Record keeping* ? Maintain orderly and compliant financial records *Qualifications & Skills* * Minimum *2 years* of bookkeeping or accounting experience * Fluent in *English and Mandarin* (both written and spoken) * Proficient in *QuickBooks * * Familiarity with *international trade documentation* and *export financing* is an asset * Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Ability to work independently while supporting two businesses *Assets (Preferred but not required)* * Experience with *Sage *accountingsoftware * Experience with *letters of credit* and *wire transfers* * Knowledge of *Canadian payroll regulations and GST/HST filings* *About Us* *True North Genetics Ltd.* is the world?s largest independent producer of high-health registered purebred swine, holding over 80% of Canada?s registered breeding stock.
