This position defines and provides oversight of departmental strategic, business-related, and administrative processes in alignment with Corporate Administrative policies and systems. This position works closely with the General Manager and PRES Senior leadership to standardize processes, including department initiatives related to strategic planning and reporting, records management and data analysis and standards. The position works with the GM to develop and maintain department reporting requirements and dashboards. In addition, the position provides leadership and support for Parks Recreation and Environmental Services responsibilities related to the proper functioning of the Commissions and Committees, including departmental staff report processes. The position also supports CRD Legislative Services on issues and Committee and Commission supported by PRES.Key Accountabilities/Position Outcomes Provides leadership and support in advancing department strategic initiatives, including working with PRES Senior Managers and General Manager on data standards and analysis, strategic priorities and reporting as well as the development and implementation of department key performance indicators, standards and reporting. Partners with internal stakeholder, including Corporate Services, to lead and support the development of department processes and procedures related to Records Management with emphasis on department oversight, compliance and training while ensuring alignment to corporate processes. Leads and supports departmental data analysis, including data integrity and modeling to identify trends, patterns and recommendations for improvements and efficiencies. Leads and manages the work of the PRES Business Support Team, including establishing departmental processes, procedures and protocols with a focus on support, direction and compliance. Leads and researches best practices and current practices to prepare gap analysis, considerations, and recommendations. Provides confidential, executive level support to the General Manager. Oversees departmental Freedom of Information requests, ensuring compliance with corporate processes. Manages projects and oversees processes with emphasis on efficiencies and improvements. Oversees PRES tracking processes related to Commissions and Committees initiatives and deliverables. Provides support related to confidential, professional and specialized administrative support to Commissions and Committees, with a focus on ensuring timely and accurate record of decisions and CRD staff actions and timelines.
