As a business that has been in the building and hardware industry for 25 years, we are now seeking a dynamic individual to fill the position of Warehouse Associate. The ideal candidate will aim to increase efficiency and accuracy in our day to day operations, thereby driving business growth and enhancing customer experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Receiving, unpacking and inspecting incoming shipments
- Ensuring items are placed in specified locations and organized properly
- Labelling and repackaging items as well as grouping inventory into categories
- Documenting and reporting shortages/damaged goods in shipment
- Packing and filling orders accurately and efficiently with the use of order picker and forklift
- Preparing shipping documents and arranging couriers for deliveries
- Receiving, verifying and keeping records of returned products in accordance to company procedures/policies
- Following up on backorders and arranging for shipment upon arrival of goods
- Performing periodic inventory count and updating record as required
- Ensuring that the workplace is kept in an orderly fashion to meet safety standards and to maximize efficiency.
Requirements:
- High school diploma/certificate
- Minimum of one year warehouse experience preferred
- Responsible, detail-oriented and team player
- Basic knowledge of computer operations
- Be able to operate forklift and order picker
- Good communication and organizational skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 ? 32 per week
