Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Air conditioned. Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer. Tasks: Schedule events, programs and activities. Schedule work. Assist clients/guests with special needs. Be the point of contact when in need to handle emergency situations. Monitor quality and production levels. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Wash or dry-clean industrial or household articles. Supervise office and volunteer staff. Supervision: 5-10 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Occupational Health and Safety Certificate. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for Indigenous people: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers . Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations . Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers .
