*About the Role*
As part of the Edmonton team, the *Warehouse Supervisor *will be working together with other team members to help assist our customers and crew daily. This opportunity will provide the right individual with a chance to be an effective problem solver while constantly reprioritizing their tasks daily. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team that is operating forklifts, picking and building orders, loading trucks for deliveries, and reorganizing our yard to company standards.
*Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:*
- Helping customers with their orders in a timely and professional manner;
- Loading and unloading trucks in our yard efficiently;
- Picking and packing customer orders;
- Verifying picked orders and double-checking accuracy for loading;
- Receiving, moving, and reorganizing material within our yard;
- Complete safety tasks and cleaning tasks;
- Be advised of shortages and damaged goods and work with management to reduce;
- Lead, coach and motivate the warehouse team;
- Other tasks as assigned by management
*Our Must Haves*
- Must be a resident of Edmonton area and legally able to work in Canada without relocation;
- Must have 5 years experience in warehousing, building drywall an asset;
- Must have 2 years experience in leading teams;
- Physically fit and capable to lift and move up to 75 lbs;
- Valid Forklift License, an asset;
- Excellent verbal and written communication;
