Broadway Construction is looking to hire a Part Time Painter.
We are seeking a self-motivated, dependable, energetic individual with experience in residential painting to complement our team.
General Duties (not limited to):
* Drywall installation, mud/tape, sand.
* Using fillers such as putty and plaster to repair cracks.
* Preparing walls and other surfaces before painting.
* Removal of baseboards before painting.
* Removal and reinstall hardware.
* Selecting the correct tools and paints for projects.
* Mixing and applying paints, varnishes, and sealants for a lasting finish.
* Covering exposed objects and surfaces.
* Obeying workplace safety rules.
* Keeping the workspace and tools clean.
* Work alone or in tandem with other painters to complete job on time
Must have:
-Class 5 driver?s license with clean abstract
-Clear criminal record check
-Own tools (Drill, hammer, roller handles, screwdriver, trowel, putty knife etc.)
-Steele Toe work boots, must be CSA approved
We offer competitive compensation. Company Vehicle for work purposes when on shift provided.
Work hours will be scheduled between 8:00 am -4:30 pm and only Monday to Friday as projects become available.
