<p>The La Kami project, located in St-Jovite, is seeking a passionate, reliable, versatile and motivated Assistant Property and Leasing Manager. This project includes 12 12-plex buildings, totaling 168 residential units.</p><p>If you are a proactive individual with solid experience as an Assistant Property and Leasing Manager, this position is for you!</p><p><b>Main Responsibilities</b></p><p>The Assistant Property and Leasing Manager will be responsible for participating in the leasing and day-to-day operations of our new multi-residential project located in St-Jovite, ensuring efficient and optimized management and leasing.</p><ul><li>Respond to all leasing inquiries (emails, calls).</li><li>Organize and coordinate apartment visits with prospects.</li><li>Coordinate visits for real estate brokers.</li><li>Conduct background checks with an external firm and evaluate the report with the Director. Real Estate.</li><li>Prepare lease agreements and manage the lease signing process with tenants.</li><li>Maintain tenant files, including lease documentation, obtaining missing information as needed.</li><li>Hold regular meetings with the property manager to review available units, recently signed leases, and planned moves-in/moves-out.</li><li>Perform data entry tasks, including updating tenant information and creating reports.</li><li>Track maintenance requests and work orders in the property management software (Yardi).</li><li>Coordinate with accounting, process rent payments, and check requests.</li><li>Manage and organize tenant move-in and move-out inspections, and key pickups with on-site staff. Prepare and send building work notices and tenant notices. Manage, schedule, and track building repairs, service calls, fire and alarm inspections, etc. as directed by the Property Manager.</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, responding to requests and concerns in a timely manner.</li><li>Answer phone calls and emails professionally.</li><li>Build and maintain positive tenant relationships, ensuring high tenant satisfaction.</li><li>Perform other duties and special projects as needed.</li></ul><p><b>Primary Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Previous experience (minimum 2-3 years) in administration, property management, or leasing.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.</li><li>Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information. sensitive.</li><li>Strong attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.</li><li>Proficient in data entry and computer skills.</li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office.</li><li>Experience in the accounts receivable/payable field is considered an asset.</li><li>Experience using Yardi or a property management system is an asset.</li><li>Experience or knowledge in the real estate field is considered an asset.</li><li>French (spoken and written) English (comfortable for professional conversation)</li></ul><p> If this position is a good fit, please submit your resume.</p><p> While we greatly appreciate all applicants, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.</p>
