<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>Tundra Site Services is accepting resumes from Millwrights and Welders for Process Plant maintenance work in the Arctic.</p><p>Our clients have a variety of schedules, and we're building a crew of millwrights that can help fill open positions on a <strong>casual basis, </strong>typically for 3-8 days per rotation. Top candidates will be notified when we have opportunities; dates will be shared to see if the scheduling may work out for all.</p><p>**Charter pick-up points are <strong>Yellowknife and Calgary**</strong></p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong><br />• Journeyman Millwright ticket, 4th year apprentices may be considered.<br />• Journeyman Welders with significant experience working with Millwrights in a mechanical capacity during shutdowns may be considered.<br />• Industrial, mining and process plant shutdown experience is an asset.<br />• Willingness to work indoors/outdoors, <span class="long-word">dayshift/nightshift</span> and to travel/work in a remote camp environment.<br />• Ability to meet all prescreening requirements including medical, criminal record check and drug test.<br />• A strong commitment to site safety policy and procedures.<br />• Strong verifiable references from previous employers.</p><p><strong>BENEFITS:</strong><br />• 12hrs workdays<br />• Competitive wages; various compensation structures available, rates determined by project and will be shared with qualified candidates<br />• Tools, food, lodging and charter flights from designated pick-up points</p><p>Our clients' permanent camps are well-serviced and organized and have excellent food, facilities, and safety programs.
