*See You Vision Care* is an independent optometric clinic located in Scarborough (Midland and McNicoll) looking for an exceptional, permanent optician. You will be responsible for various tasks including dispensing and will assist the optometrist when needed. The ideal candidate will be a friendly, personable, hardworking and reliable team player that will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors.

*Qualifications:*
* Fluency in English is required.
* Ability to speak either Cantonese or Mandarin preferred.
* Excellent customer service is required
* Licensed with the College of Opticians of Ontario

*Responsibilities:*
* Greeting and checking in all patients and visitors
* Direct billing claims to patients? insurances, handling cash and card transactions + returns
* Processing & placing lens and contact lens orders
* Eyeglass dispensing including fitting, repairs, adjustments and consultations
* Handling and assisting the optometrist with retinal imaging scans as well as using the autorefractor machine
* Administrative work such as booking patients, appointment recalls, faxing referrals, fulfilling office orders, etc.
* Answering phone calls, emails, and any inquiries
* Handling OHIP, ODSP, OW, IFHP transactions and appointments
*Hours of Work:*
We are looking for both full-time and part time positions. Occasional availability for fill-ins would be nice.
