*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.
*Responsibilities*
* Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
* Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
* Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
* Assist in inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
* Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols as needed.
* Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to ensure customer satisfaction.
*Qualifications*
* Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
* Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
* A passion for meal preparation and delivering high-quality dishes to customers.
* Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
