Through building strong relationships and developing a thorough understanding of the platform's objectives and strategy, the successful candidate will act as a trusted partner and proactively identify, challenge, document, and communicate risks in a manner which enables the entire platform team to make faster and better decisions while operating within TD's Risk Appetite. This successful candidate will demonstrate a balance of risk and business acumen in order to guide the Platform teams as they navigate through complex risk domains and regulatory requirements. A key component of the role is to foster and effectively manage relationships with Risk & Control Partners (Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Operational Risk, Fraud, GAML, e-Tech Risk, and others) to ensure alignment to the broader organization from a policy and compliance perspective while also leveraging their knowledge and expertise to ensure partner interactions are efficient, effective, and timely. Additionally, the successful candidate will:Own the risk/compliance oversight and act as primary risk liaison for assigned Product Family/Group/Pod(s) through active engagement with Core Banking Platform stakeholders as part of TD Scaled Agility through NEW ways of working.Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge and understanding of assigned Core Banking Platform capabilities with an emphasis on understanding the interplay between various capabilities as well as business segment/Journey impact.Support 1A with the timely completion of applicable risk assessment artifactsAttend and participate in all applicable required NEW ceremoniesActively engage Risk & Control partners (Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Operational Risk, Fraud, GAML, e-Tech Risk, and others as may be necessary) to review identified project risks and planned controls to gain buy-inSupport timely sign offs from Risk & Control partners on requirements, processes and/or other artifacts, as required, to support implementation activities.Actively monitor any trends, findings, action plans to address gaps or identified remediation activities and contribute to Day 2 reporting.Be responsible for ensuring the RMP and the assigned Product Family/Group/pod(s) execute against the NEW Delivery Execution Framework requirements, including the timely identification, management and reporting of risk issues in JIRA.Participate in identifying opportunities to continuously improve the team and the overall RMP Practice within the Bank.Support platforms outside of the Core Banking Product Family as requiredAct as the Privacy Designate for the assigned Product Family/Group(s), including reporting identified privacy events to the Privacy OfficeDe
