The Delivery Driver safely and efficiently delivers our products to our customers while maintaining quality, professionalism and a customer focused attitude. This position is also accountable for ensuring vehicles are well maintained, cleaned and inspected. Driving and Delivering of Products and Performing Pickups (85% of time): Safely drive and deliver products to customer locations, ensuring accurate invoicing, product placement, and payment collection. Perform product pickups for Prairie Meats. Truck Inspection and Maintenance (5% of time): Conduct pre-trip inspections, maintain fluid levels, clean the truck, and handle debris removal after each run. Loading and Sorting (5% of time): Assist with loading, sorting, and preparing orders for delivery. Communication (5% of time): Handle calls from sales reps, order clerks, and traffic supervisors regarding deliveries, pickups, or issues with products and invoices. Skills and Competencies: Strong customer service and communication skillsAbility to organize, prioritize tasks, and work independentlyAttention to detail and adherence to health and safety practicesEffective team player and problem solver Qualifications: High school diploma (or GED)Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record1-3 years of customer service or delivery experience preferred
