The Business Services Sales Representative is responsible for developing, promoting, and maintaining relationships with businesses across St. John?s and rural communities throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.
This role is ideal for someone with strong regional knowledge, a consultative sales approach, and a passion for helping businesses find workforce and employment solutions!
*Responsibilities*
* Identify, target, and engage prospective business clients?particularly in rural or underserved regions
* Promote tailored workforce and business support services based on local labour market needs
* Prepare quotes, present service packages, and negotiate terms with prospective clients
* Maintain regular contact with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction and identify further needs
* Develop and maintain a network of employers, community groups, and industry stakeholders
* Represent the organization at community events, job fairs, and business development functions
* Utilize CRM systems to manage client interactions, opportunities, and follow-up schedules
* Collaborate with internal teams to align service delivery with client expectations
* Lead or support outreach and marketing campaigns to increase visibility and reach
* Contribute to achieving sales, client acquisition, and engagement KPIs
*Qualifications: *
* Post-secondary education (certificate/diploma ? minimum 3 months) or equivalent experience
* 3?5 years of experience in sales, business development, or employment services
* Solid understanding of the local labour market and regional economic trends
* Experience with Canadian immigration programs considered an asset
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Experience with CRM tools and reporting systems
*Requirements: *
* Must have access to own transportation
* Willing to travel throughout Newfoundland and Labrador
* Comfortable with flexible on-site/off-site work environments
*Bonus Points For:*
* Knowledge of Canadian immigration/employment systems
* Education/experience in Business, HR, Sales, Marketing or Community Development
