Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: General manufacturing. Tasks: Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables. Set up and adjust production machineries/tools. Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance. Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers). Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast-paced environment. Tight deadlines. Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods.
