Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings. Describe menu items including daily specials for customers. Balance cash and record sales. Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs. Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages. Serve food and beverages. Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Food Safety Certificate. Safe Food Handling certificate. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Personal suitability: Client focus. Flexibility. Organized. Reliability. Team player. Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?. Are you currently a student?. Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?.
