Do you have exceptional customer service, interpersonal and communication skills? If so, the City of Burnaby is looking for Front Counter Clerks to work at the Main Detachment on an auxiliary basis. This front-line work involves clerical and typing. Our Front Counter Clerks assist and provide information and assistance to outside agencies, check and process various forms and applications, operate PRIME and related RCMP computer applications and use related equipment. The role performs other related work as required. The ideal candidate will have availability for on-call coverage and will possess qualifications that include completion of Grade 12 with criminology, psychology, effective communications, or business management courses, and the ability to operate a computer terminal with speed and accuracy. Ability to prepare and maintain a variety of files, records, statistics and reports. The ability to operate PRIME and related RCMP computer applications, and related equipment is preferred. Successful applicants must obtain and maintain an Enhanced RCMP Security Clearance. Pay Rate: $29.48 per hour + 12% in lieu of benefits (2024 Rates)Location: Burnaby RCMP DetachmentHours of work: This is an auxiliary position with shifts dependent on operational requirements.
