*Summary*
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager (BD Manager) to join our team at Dogwood Maintenance Ltd in Surrey, BC.
This role is crucial in driving growth and expanding our client base across Canada. The BD Manager will increase market awareness by targeting new clients and promoting our services. The ideal candidate will also be instrumental in fostering relationships with existing clients to understand their needs and identifying new business opportunities. This position reports to the CEO to provide the management team with critical market data and client specific feedback to enhance and strengthen our services.

*MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:*
· Identify, research and develop new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, and services.
· Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and client satisfaction, including cold and warm calling prospective clients.
· Generate leads and build a consistent sales pipeline necessary to achieve sales targets.
· Understand the market, industry and the specific strategies to attract new clients.
· Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement.
· Uncover new business development opportunities aligned with market needs and business strategy.
· Achieve sales targets by growing Dogwood?s client base,
· Maintain and build relationships with prospective future clients, develop relationships with new clients, and grow existing client relationships.
· Meet with new and existing clients in person or via zoom and have scheduled meetings with certain clients (monthly, quarterly, annually) to maintain and grow relationships.
· Create sales presentations.
· Support negotiating contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders.
· Develop, prepare and implement short and long-term business development plans to meet corporate objectives.
· Provide reports and status updates on business opportunities and client activities to management in a timely manner.
· Follow the latest industry and market developments.
· Coordinate marketing activities as required.
· Work with other departments as needed.
*QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:*
*Required Training/Experience:*
· 5+ years of work experience as a Business Development Manager or relevant role
· Successful track record in sales

· Superior communication and presentation skills ? ability to communicate information to all stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
