As a Guest Service Agent at Inn On The Lake you will be responsible for offering exceptional customer service. A courteous and professional manner is essential to create a positive guest experience during their stay.
The agent will be responsible for working with a Multi-line switchboard, Word processing software, Database software, Computerized bookkeeping system, Central reservation system (CRS), Spreadsheet and the Internet
Work Schedule: Work irregular hours and shifts as needed (evenings, days, weekdays, weekends)
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a 1 year program, or equivalent experience

Primary Duties:
. Register arriving guests and assign rooms,
. Process group arrivals and departures,
. Take, cancel and change room reservations,
. Provide information on hotel facilities and services,
. Provide general information about points of interest in the area,
. Exchange foreign currency,
. Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments,
. Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms,
. Follow emergency and safety procedures,
. Clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying),
. Handle wake-up calls,
. Provide customer service,
. Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
*Must have own transportation, public transit not available*
