*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work well with others. You will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring a clean and professional work environment.
We cover all of HRM and some surrounding areas.
*Responsibilities*
* Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes as necessary.
* Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
* Restore and maintain surfaces by performing touch-ups and repairs as needed.
* Maintain a clean work area by disposing of materials properly and ensuring tools are organized.
* Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress and requirements.
* Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines without compromising quality.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in construction painting, including residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Ability to restore surfaces to their original condition through skilled painting techniques.
* Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients professionally.
* Familiarity with safety protocols in construction environments is preferred.
* A valid driver?s license and vehicle is required for travel between job sites.
