Duties * Assemble components as required for the construction of HVAC equipment. * Fabricate and assemble metal products. * Measuring, cutting, grinding, all necessary components together, perform a quality check, and update supervisor on progress. * Use of hand and power tools. * Following blueprint diagrams to build HVAC units. * Components range from small parts to large parts for assembling. Components range from 5lbs to 50lbs depending on the job. * Assembly of HVAC equipment. * Assist other workers within the department to complete urgent tasks safely * Detail each unit before shipping * Build crates * Follow codes, regulations and accepted safety practices * Meet all company, governmental, and equipment related safety requirements * General Maintenance * And other duties as assigned by Management Skills and Abilities The work is most rewarding for those who enjoy working with little direction or supervision. People in this field also enjoy variety in a job as well as security.
