Our client, a reputable company in the transportation industry, is currently seeking four (4) experienced and dedicated Long-Haul Truck Drivers to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about driving, committed to safety, and ready to take on the challenges of long-distance transportation across borders.
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Industry: Transportation and Logistics
Hours: 40 to 50 hours per week
Travel: Cross-border, International, Overnight
Compensation: $0.52 per mile
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and adjust routes using GPS and navigation tools to reduce fuel usage and carbon emissions.
* Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, providing professional customer service on the road.
* Load and unload goods, ensuring the cargo is secure and safe at all times.
* Obtain and manage required permits for international transportation.
* Operate and maintain straight or articulated trucks, including full pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
* Perform emergency roadside repairs and conduct regular preventive maintenance.
* Accurately record cargo details, hours of service, mileage, and fuel consumption.
* Safely transport and handle dangerous goods, adhering to all regulatory guidelines.
Requirements:
Language: English
Valid AZ class license or Class 1/A driver?s license
International and long-haul transportation experience
Willingness to travel including cross-border, international, and overnight routes
Applicants must be either Permanent Residents or hold a valid Work Permit.
Applicants must hold a valid U.S. visa for cross-border travel
