Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies. Prepare production and other reports. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Supervision: 5-10 people. Labourers in food, beverage and tobacco processing. Process control and machine operators, food and beverage processing. Regulations knowledge: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Knowledge of preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast-paced environment. Handling heavy loads. Attention to detail. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Flexibility.
