*Overview* We are seeking a skilled and innovative *licensed P.Eng*. to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and demonstrate proficiency in drafting, schematics, and CAD software. This role involves designing, developing, and stamping of design drawings, ensuring they meet quality standards and project specifications. *\*MUST BE WILLING TO COME IN PERSON TO THE OFFICE LOCATED IN HAMILTON MON-FRI 9AM TO 5PM\** *\*KNOWLEDGE OF BUILDING CODE, COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS AND AUTOCAD IS A MUST\** *Duties* * *Design and draft* detailed schematics for mechanical systems using CAD software. * Ability to work on both *residential and commercial architectural design disciplines*. * The *seal or stamp* signifies that the P.Eng. assumes professional responsibility for the design, opinions, judgments, or directions given in the documents and drawings. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for mechanical challenges. * Utilize mechanical knowledge to analyze project requirements and create effective designs. * Document engineering processes, findings, and modifications throughout the project lifecycle. * Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve product designs. *Requirements* * *Bachelor?s degree in mechanical engineering* or a related field. * *Proficiency in CAD* software and experience with drafting schematics. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to *troubleshoot design issues *effectively. * Be *fully licensed and have the ability to stamp design drawings with the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO)* * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. * *Strong communication skills* to convey technical information clearly.
