Position: Security Team LeadSite: University Health Network - West Park HealthcareAveraging Agreement: Overtime is Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hoursStatus: Full-TimeHours: Continental Nights (1800-0600 hrs.)Pay Rate: $21.59Posting Date: June 13, 2025Internal Expiry: June 19, 2025External Expiry: June 26, 2025 Essential Job Functions:Provides leadership, direction, and ongoing coaching and training.Ensures all standing orders and scheduled daily activities are carried out as required for each shift.Ensures site staff adhere to all Paladin Security and hospital security policies and procedures.Plans and implements shift work schedules.Ensures all Security Guards have received the mandatory training.Motivates staff and issues commendations.Disciplines staff when necessary and ensures proper documentation is passed onto head office.Attendance ManagementPerforms security audits.Documents and investigates security incidents and complaints.Communicates any concerns/issues with Client Service ManagerRequirements:At least one year of security experience in a team lead role preferredPost-secondary education in a law enforcement/security program from a recognized college is preferredWorking knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health ActSuperior written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact, and diplomacy.International Association of Healthcare Security Services (IAHSS) certificate would be an assetValid Ontario Security LicenseImmunization Record including MMR.
