Come work with our incredible and talented finance team. * Timely preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements and reporting packages. Ensuring that the financial statements are accurate and in accordance with statutory requirements; * Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition; * Supervise and review the preparation of the general ledger and including review of journal entries and bank reconciliations to ensure that financial reports and statements are accurate; * Review and participate in submission of all statutory income tax filings including HST returns; * Submit HST returns on monthly basis; * Manage foreign currency risk; * Responsible for inter-company accounts; * Prepare financial analysis to assist management in various business engagements; * Assist in the management of day to day banking and preparation of daily cash flow; * Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances; * Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting; * Review and assist in payroll and T4 functions as required; * Provide assistance and respond to queries from senior management; and * Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned. * Answer external auditor inquires; * Monthly closing; * Microsoft dynamics is an asset; * Additional duties as assigned. *Qualifications* * University Degree, Major in Accounting, College Diploma, Major in Accounting or equivalent work experience (minimum 5 years? experience in accounting role) * Advance computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite * Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences * Strong time-management skills demonstrated through successfully undertaking multiple priorities at one time * Well-developed knowledge of accounting principles and best practices, specifically in the areas of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, month and year end processing * Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with teammates * Actively contribute to a positive, collaborative work culture through professional communication with all departments and teammates * Self-starter and strong attention to detail * Ability to define and solve problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts and draw conclusions Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year Benefits: * Casual dress * Dental care * Extended health care Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: * Tillsonburg, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Application question(s): * How many years of work experience in accounting role?
