*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a thorough understanding of HVAC systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. The HVAC Technician will work closely with clients to ensure their systems operate efficiently and effectively. *Duties* * Install new HVAC systems according to specifications and schematics. * Perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems to ensure optimal performance. * Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning HVAC equipment, including boilers, air conditioners, and heat pumps. * Conduct inspections of HVAC systems to identify issues and recommend solutions. * Build and fabricate components as needed for system installations or repairs. * Plumb and weld as necessary for system installations or modifications. * Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and equipment maintenance logs. * Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs. *Qualifications* * Gas fitter Ticket or similar HVAC license that is valid in Alberta is mandatory. * Minimum two years experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role is preferred. * Strong communication skills. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings. * Familiarity with appliance repair techniques related to HVAC systems is a plus. * Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. * Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
