*Job Description:* We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Kitchen Cook to join our dynamic culinary team at Canadian Golf & Country Club. This is a seasonal position, primarily focused on supporting the restaurant and banquet operations during peak golf season.
*Pay Range:* $17.00 - $24.00/hour
*Responsibilities:*
* *Menu Preparation:* Assist in the preparation of a diverse and high-quality menu for both the restaurant and banquet events.
* *Food Safety:* Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards to ensure the health and well-being of our guests.
* *Collaboration:* Work closely with other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
* *Event Support:* Contribute to the successful execution of banquet events, ensuring timely and accurate food service.
* *Cleanliness:* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following established cleaning schedules.
*Qualifications:*
* Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or banquet setting.
* Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
* Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
*Seasonal Details:* This position is seasonal, with the primary workload during the golf season. The duration of employment may vary based on business needs and seasonal demands.
