<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong>SUMMARY </strong></p><p>Reporting to the Manager, this position is responsible for handling incoming calls, faxes and email quote requests/ orders. Ensuring that customer inquiries are answered in a timely fashion and that all efforts are made to secure additional business.</p><p> </p><p><strong>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><p>? Be in a state of readiness for incoming calls for the entire shift, excluding assigned breaks and/or lunches</p><p>? Provide accurate pricing to dealers, movers and private customers as required</p><p>? Answer all customer inquiries relating to Transport service, transit times, service parameters, etc</p><p>? Handle customer track, trace inquiries, and provide them with accurate and timely information</p><p>? Assist the Claim Department in providing customers with viable solutions regarding their claims issues</p><p>? Achieve all measurable daily performance standards as they are outlined and established (i.e. number of calls answered, closing ratio on quotes, etc.)</p><p>? Place outbound calls to customers to proactively inform them of service/rail delays</p><p>? Receive, process and input orders into the system accurately</p><p>? Identify potential sales leads and work with Sales to qualify the leads and maximize order retention</p><p>? Adhere to LII Business Code of Ethics, policies and procedures</p><p>? Flexibility in hours of work a must</p><p>? Other Duties as Assigned</p><p> </p><p><strong>SKILLS REQUIRED </strong></p><p>? Previous exposure to and experience in the <strong>transportation industry</strong> would be preferred, but not essential</p><p>? Very strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)</p><p>? Working knowledge of MS Office (Word & Excel) a must</p><p>? Minimum keyboard <strong>typing speed of 45 to 60 wpm a must</strong></p><p>? Ability to work independently or as part of a group, within a call centre environment</p><p>? <strong>Bilingual - French/English</strong> desirable</p><p>? Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload</p><p>? Strong customer service focus and flexibility in dealing with diverse customer scenarios</p><p>?
