**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including inventory management, order processing, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- *Receiving and Shipping:*
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Verify accuracy of shipments against purchase orders and invoices.
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring they meet company and customer standards.
- *Inventory Management:*
- Organize and store products in designated locations.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or shortages.
- *Order Fulfillment:*
- Accurately pick, pack, and label items for customer orders.
- Use warehouse management systems to track and update order statuses.
- Ensure timely and efficient order processing.
- *Safety and Maintenance:*
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to \[weight limit, e.g., 50 lbs\]) safely.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Forklift certification is an asset but not required.
