Front Desk Agent
We are currently seeking a Front Desk Agent. Applicants must be available to work up to 40 hours a week, with open availability to include, days, evenings, overnights, holidays and weekends.
Not suitable for students.
Position Summary
The successful candidate should be outgoing and friendly, with an upbeat personality and a natural talent for delivering superior customer service. At The Courtyard by Marriott, we strive to make our guests? feel at home, ensure their needs are met and their expectations exceeded. As a Guest Services Agent, it will be your job to heighten our guests? experiences.
Responsibilities and Duties
? Provide outstanding customer service in a pleasant, courteous, professional manner.
? Greets and processes guests promptly upon arrival.
? Reviews reservations and assigns rooms based on availability, special requests and hotel promotions.
? Answers phone and guest inquiries efficiently.
? Making of reservations or appointments for guests whom want to experience local entertainment or services.
? Exceeding guests? expectations by anticipating the services they may require and suggesting local venues to enhance the guest experience.
? Communicates with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure prompt responses to guest needs and requests. Qualifications and Required Skills
? Excellent customer service and communication skills
? Professional appearance is a must.
? Ability to handle guest complaints, follow up on requests and issues promptly and efficiently.
? Cash control experience needed.
? Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment.
? Basic computer skills required
? 2 years experience as a GSA preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50 per hour
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Day shift
* Holidays
* Monday to Friday
* Weekends as needed
