Green Works Contracting is seeking hardworking and detail-oriented *Landscape Maintenance Crew Members* to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty of residential and commercial properties. This role requires a hands-on approach to maintaining outdoor spaces, utilizing both hand and power tools. If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in your work, and thrive in a team-oriented setting, we want to hear from you! *Schedule & Locations:* * Meet up/yard locations in Kanata (shrub crews). * Full-time, seasonal position (End of April ? November) with potential for year-round employment. * Monday to Friday schedule, 8 hour shifts. *Responsibilities:* * Perform routine lawn care services, including mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing. * Conduct garden maintenance tasks such as weeding, planting, dividing, and pruning. * Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (trimmers, blowers, ride on mowers, etc.). * Install landscape materials (soil, mulch, river stone, etc.). * Ensure properties are clean, tidy, and aesthetically maintained. * Apply fertilizers and other lawn care products safely and efficiently. * Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment. *Qualifications:* * Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred but not required. * Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively. * Strong work ethic with attention to detail. Capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions. * Valid G-class driver?s license (preferred but not mandatory). * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks. * Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. *Skills:* * Proficient in landscape maintenance techniques with a strong understanding of gardening practices. * Ability to build structures using basic construction skills. * Experience with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, as well as power tools like lawnmowers line trimmer and hedge trimmers. * Capability to dig, plant, irrigate, and maintain gardens effectively. * Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. *Why Work With Green Works Contracting?* Green Works Contracting is a multi-service landscaping and maintenance company proudly serving Ottawa.
