NL Health Services has three full time Hospitalist/Family Medicine positions available at Carbonear General Hospital, Carbonear, NL. Community Carbonear General Hospital is situated in the town of Carbonear. Carbonear is a beautiful rural town about 100 kilometers outside of St. John?s. Job Summary The successful candidate will be expected to share 24 hour on-call services and general practice clinics shared with the other Hospitalists. Previous experience in chemotherapy assessments would be an asset but not required. While there is support from Internal Medicine and Surgical services, the successful candidate will be adept at independent management of patients with multiple co-morbidities. Strong value is placed on communication skills with patients and families.
