Our client has an immediate full-time permanent opportunity available for a Millwright in Saskatoon It is the sole responsibility of the maintenance team to take full ownership of all our equipment and machinery. It is up to our team to ensure that this place operates smoothly and achieves our uptime goals as established by the company. Preventative maintenance is what we need to be about. This is our primary purpose. Responsibilities (Directly or Indirectly) Maintenance personnel will be assigned specific machinery. The expectation is that maintenance personnel will be fully versed in the specific equipment in which you are assigned. Please familiarize yourself with the following list of expectations: Ensure familiarity with all maintenance required on your equipment including maintenance manuals, functionality, diagrams, etc. Ensure all lubrication requirements are met on intervals that exceed 80 hrs running time. Less than 80 hrs run time will be left to the designated Lube Tech on off weeks. While on shift, the less than 80 hr lube requirement will be the responsibility of the equipment owner as per maintenance manual specific lubrication intervals. For lubrication requirements under 80 hrs run time, you will be responsible to get a lube PM (preventative maintenance task) in place so that the designated lube technician can perform task on off weeks. If a PM is not already present, the maintenance planning team will help you draft one. Lubrication intervals are in the maintenance manuals. Education, Experience, and Training Requirements Industrial Mechanic Red Seal or apprenticing towards Ability to operate hoisting equipment such as overhead cranes, bridge cranes, chain falls, lever hoists, zoom boom, scissor lift, etc. Confined space entry Aerial work platform training High angle rescue training Good understanding of the following:o Sawline alignment theory, shaft alignment theory
